We are having a celebration! Sunday Sept. 15 join us for free food, free games, free prizes, and lots of fun. There will be face painting, a bouncy house, dunk tank, community tables and all kinds of activities. So join come and join us from noon to 4 p.m. All are welcome! It will be a great day, invite your friends.
Join us as we work with the Friends of Pennypack Park to clean up the park! On August 24th we will gather at the Little City (Rhawn Street east of Holmehurst Ave) to help maintain God's creation. The clean up day runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. We ask that you please wear long pants, long sleeve shirt, and sneakers/work boots/hiking boots. Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult! Pastor Lauren Heywood, who was supposed to be with us on August 25th, will now be with us on September 22nd. We apologize for the delay but with four congregations participating in this pulpit swap things can get busy. We will look forward to welcoming her to worship with us on the 22nd of September.

Our Sages group will gather for a showing of the documentary “Pray the Devil back to Hell.” This documentary focuses on the Nobel Prize winner Leymah Gbowee and the women’s movement to end the civil war in Libera. Gbowee was raised and started her ministry in a lutheran church in Libera. The documentary is about an hour long. We will gather at 2 p.m. on Monday August 19th. Come and join us!
Mark your calendar for August 17th from 11 a.m. 2 p.m. for the 7th police district community day located at Bustleton and Bowler. This is a great opportunity to get out in the community and spread the word about Redemption!
